In my artistic practice, I subvert the ephemeral nature of human memory by playing with a collection of discarded postcards. I transform these fragile and neglected objects into something solid and durable using several materials, mainly resin. By creating memory fragments,
I subvert the widespread thought that human memory is temporal and breathe new life into forgotten, abandoned memories. I have meticulously organised them as an archive that will be publicly available to be shared and rearranged. So my work suggests to the public how to see the reading of other people’s memoirs not only in material form but also digitally through sensory experience to have a moment of contemplation.
