When I juxtapose the city and nature, two sentiments effortlessly emerge, shaping my perception of each. The city, intimately interwoven with humanity, bears inherent constraints—constrained by time, confined by space, and bound by the artificial orchestration of human intervention. Nature, in contrast, unfolds as an endless tapestry of creativity, free from the physiological and psychological confines that humanity, by its very nature, cannot escape.
Lorsque KIM Haeun(née en 1994) oppose ville et nature deux sentiments lui viennent directement à l’esprit et influencent sa façon de les percevoir. La ville est intrinsèquement liée à l’homme et de ce fait est forcément limitée dans le temps, limitée dans l’espace et limitée par la gestion artificielle qu’en fait l’être humain. La nature en revanche lui semble pouvoir faire preuve d’une créativité infinie, car non contrainte par les limitations physiologiques et psychologique desquelles le genre humain ne peut, par définition, pas s’extraire.
