My artistic experiments are started from the definition of the body as a physical and mental space, I adapt a various artistic practice, which alternates drawing, installation, performance, often using fragile and banal elements. In the work "Territorial Sewing", the intimate space that embodies my body by becoming the space-body, the space-memory, closed and opened at the same time. in « En( )Corporation", I tried to inscribe my own body in the landscape by wanting to dialogue with the space.
This work is a kind of result of the consumption of many lives such as grasses, worms, small insects whose name I do not know. Thus the body also seems to me a matter of desire, as Agnès Violeau says: “We find the metaphor of the integration or even the fusion of the human figure in the space of the city, with Kwon Hyeoki. This same fantasy of extending the body into its surroundings…”
My recent artistic works talks about the body becoming a thing in the face of the uncertainty of supernatural power. At this stage, the body is fragile and ephemeral, but at the same time tough, sublime and mysterious. The question of the extension of the body extends to the transmission of the sensation that I felt to the spectators.
Mes expérimentations artistiques se font autour de la définition du corps comme espace physique et mental, j’adapte une pratique artistique variée, qui alterne le dessin, l’installation, la performance en utilisant souvent des éléments fragiles et banals. Dans l'œuvre « Territorial Sewing », l’espace intime qui incarne mon corps en devenant l’espace-corps, l’espace-mémoire, fermé et ouvert à la fois. dans « En( )Corporation », j’ai essayé d’inscrire mon propre corps dans le paysage en voulant dialoguer avec l’espace.
Cette oeuvre est une sorte de résultat de la consommation bon nombre de vies telles que des herbes, des vers, des petits insectes dont je ne connais pas le nom. Ainsi le corps me paraisse aussi une matière de désir comme le dit par Agnès Violeau : « on retrouve la métaphore de l’intégration voire la fusion de la figure humaine dans l’espace de la ville, avec Kwon Hyeoki. Ce même fantasme d’extension du corps dans son environnement… »
Dans mes travaux artistique récents le corps devient une chose face à l’incertitude du pouvoir surnaturel. A ce stade, le corps est fragile et éphémère, mais à la fois coriace, sublime et mystérieux. La question de l’extension du corps s’étend à la transmission de la sensation que j’ai ressenti aux spectateurs.
