Through the pictorial languages of painting and drawing, KIM Naryeong(b.1992) explores the human body and gloomy emotions. She is interested in how these emotions are expressed through the body's postures in the situation. She interprets the bodily attitudes of those who share her daily life. KIM Naryeong projects herself onto her paintings as if into a mirror. As a result, the works she creates become self-portraits, revealing the most intimate things about herself.
Shadow is the physical and metaphorical translation of melancholy. Just as light has an inseparable relationship with darkness, so a relationship exists between existence and shadows. Shadows represent the extension of the human body and symbolize the periphery of the subject in her work. The shadow accentuates the tension and isolates the character within it.
À travers des langages picturaux, la peinture et le dessin, KIM Naryeong(née en 1992) explore le corps humain et les émotions ténébreuses. Elle s’intéresse à la manière dont ces émotions s’expriment à travers les postures du corps dans la situation. Elle interprète les attitudes corporelle de ceux qui partagent son quotidien. KIM Naryeong se projète sur ses peintures comme dans un miroir. Par conséquent, les travaux réalisés deviennent des autoportraits qui révèlent les choses les plus intimes en soi.
L’ombre qui est la traduction physique et métaphorique de la mélancolie. Tout comme la lumière a une relation indissociable avec l'obscurité, une relation entre l'existence et les ombres existe. Elle représente l’extension du corps humain et symbolise une périphérie du sujet dans son travail. L'ombre accentue la tension et isole le personnage en elle.
